最近、妙に「私は不幸だ！ 環境を変えたい！！」と相談を受けます。以前 お話した「六月病」の時期なのかもしれません（笑）。もう一度、この症状をおさらいしましょう。
「五月病」と同じように「六月病」は医学用語ではありません。医学的には「適応障害」に分類されます。この症状は、急激な環境の変化についていけず、心や体が悲鳴をあげている状態です。入社時に限らず、配置転換や転職、退職、結婚、引越しなど、自分のみならず、周りの環境が大きく変化する時期に起こりがちです。ただ 六月病に関して言うならば、「自分はもっと幸せになれるのでは？！」という幻想（比較）からくるものだと言われます。どうも 自分中心の理想が、” 今の幸せ ” を邪魔してるように思えます。人間、独りで生きているのではなく、様々な恩恵によって生かされているのですが・・・。
彼岸寺さまの説法を引用します。
最近、今を幸せに思えないという悩みをよく耳にします。これから先どうなるか心配されていたり、嫌な思い出がどうしても忘れられないという方もいらっしゃるかと思います。仏教では、過去や未来ではなく、今ここでの出来事に集中することが大切だと考えます。たとえば、お釈迦さまはこんなことをおっしゃっています。「もう終わったことをいつまでも考えたり、まだ起きていないことに悩んだりしないように。過去はもう終わったことで、未来はまだ来ていないこと。だから、今すべきことをよく見つめて、それに集中しなさい。今日しなくてはいけないことを一生懸命やるのです。明日死んでしまうとしても、そのことは誰にもわからないのです」私たちはなぜ、未来や過去のことを考えるのでしょうか。その理由はいろいろ考えられますが、究極的には「幸せになりたい」と願っているからではないでしょうか。幸せになるためには、過去や未来の問題を解決しなくてはならない。でも、過去や未来のことは考えても考えても解決できない。だからそのことが頭から離れないのです。不安を解決して幸せになりたいと願うなら、過去や未来を変えようとするのではなく、そのことをどうしても考えてしまう今の気持ちに向き合いましょう。現実は変えられませんが、そのことで悩んでいるあなたの気持ちは変えることができます。（『小さな心から抜け出すお坊さんの１日１分説法』永岡書店）
幸せに生きる秘訣は「今を生きる」ことです。今が幸せに思えないのは、本来やらねばならないことに向き合わず、全力を投じてないからです。過去や未来に思考が働いている時、目の前のことに集中できないものです。それはちょうど、バックミラーを見ながら運転する車のように、後ろが気になってバックミラーを見過ぎて危ない状態です。未来ばかり見る人は、ナビの目的地周辺の地図ばかり見ているようなもので、それも危ないです。大切なのは、己の現状を直視すること・・・つまり、日々の「反省→感謝→報恩」が「今を生きる」ことにつながります。これを忘れると、大事故につながりますよ。取り返しがつきません。人間は、謙虚に謙虚に前を見て生きていく・・・必ず佛は護って下さいますから。それが信仰の原点です。合掌
