戌（いぬ）年の心構え

新年、明けましておめでとうございます。平成３０年になりました。本年も宜しくお願いします。

さて、今年の干支は戌（いぬ）です。十二支の運勢でいえば、１１番目の干支になりますので、一年を１２ヶ月で例えると、今年は１１月の季節を表します。つまり、草木が収穫から収穫後の段階へと移行していく運勢とされます。収穫の終わった田畑は、春に向け手入れをしなければなりませんので、今年は結果を求めるよりも、今後につながる土壌作りの時期と考えましょう。一度 リセットすることで、新たなる意義や価値が生まれ、可能性が広がります。

昨年は酉（とり）年で、「仲をとり持つ」ことが吉と記しましたが、今年は一歩進んで、「信頼関係」を大切にしなければなりません。戌（いぬ）は 忠誠を尽くす動物 です。しかし、エサを食べてる時に手を出せば、本能で噛んでしまいます。気が緩めば信頼が失われ、争いに翻弄される傾向にもあることを覚えておきましょう。

気を付けねばならないのは、戌に火がつけば、「滅び」という字になることです。この火が、煩悩（怒り）を表します。無用な争いを避けてこそ、平穏に過ごすことができます。興味深いことに、戌年の守り本尊は 慈悲の象徴の阿弥陀様です。まさに南無阿弥陀仏の生活が、大吉となる一年になります。怒りが出てきたら念仏を唱えましょう。本年は、今後につながる土壌作りをし、信頼を築き、春に向け 功徳の種植えをしていただいたらと存じます。皆様のご多幸をお祈り申し上げます。合掌
